Manage your soil
Maintaining and enhancing the health of soils sits at the very heart of our journey to a more regenerative and resilient farming system. Therefore, having a clear understanding of the capabilities and limitations of your soil will help you to manage and measure improvements.
Our soil health assessment services, which can be combined with soil scanning and soil sampling, will give you the knowledge you need to improve your soil.
We utilise proven tests and the latest technologies to combine observational and laboratory data to establish the physical, chemical, and biological soil properties. From digging pits for count earthworms to high-tech electromagnetic induction scanning, we can help you understand and manage your soil.
How we can help you
Soil made simple
Soil health
Using the combined results of various in-field soil assessments, such as infiltration rate, slake test and VESS (Visual Evaluation of Soil Structure), we can rapidly establish the current state of soil health, giving you the knowledge you need to improve your soils through positive management choices.
Soil scanning
We offer hi-tech soil scanning using an electrical conductivity scanner to provide a highly detailed map of the variation in soil properties across individual fields, giving you the ideal base for making informed management decisions such as seed drilling rates and targeted fertiliser applications.
Soil sampling and analysis
We offer cost-effective, highly accurate and repeatable soil sampling at different specified depths up to 60cm, combined with a range of laboratory tests—from pH and major nutrients through to micronutrients, soil organic matter, soil organic carbon and soil biological activity—and the support to interpret the results.
